I got my replacement today.
(I did full remorse exchange, and got a whole new package.)
A few things to note.
It does seem sturdier so far.
The battery seems to be much better so far. My first battery would hardly last 5-7 hours, with almost NO use and NO 3G.
I think it is better to run the battery down ALL the way before charging it the first time - (drain it ALL the way, i.e. keep turning it on, until it wont turn on anymore) - and turn it off while it charges to full (takes about 2 hrs, for light to turn green)
Even if you didn't do that at first -- from what I have read -- doing that 3 full cycles in a row, is supposed to make a significant improvement if your battery is draining fast.
My first keyboard was not caved in incredibly bad or anything -- but it drooped enough that right around "B" it was virtually flush with the casing, which made it harder to type. This new phone doesn't have that problem.
It does seem to be running faster and smoother, but that might just be because I haven't installed hardly anything yet.
It's RC28.
Oh, and I didn't get the hallowed USB --> 3.5mm adapter (which i don't really care about, and wouldn't use anyway)
I think I linked this earlier, but just in case, here is a thread I made detailing what I found out, talking in depth with 5+ reps.
