g1 (xbox 360 2005) vs i phone 3g ( play station 3 2006)

this just came to me in how similar the g1 vs iphone talk is compared to the xbox360 to ps 3 talk is. it takes us back to the early 00's when the xbox vs ps2 talk first started. in a way the g1 is the xbox. a new device. powered by a big company trying to take on the establoshed dominant console. now the xbox didnt do quite as good as the ps 2 in that time. but it developed a followinf and if you werent a ps 2 fanboy (iphone fanboys lol) then you would know that the xbox had breakthroughs in graphics and gameplay. this relates to the g1 because its an alternative, a choice that imo brings better and improved technology to the table. other than the ring of death =/ xbox 360 kicks the ps3's butt!! i can only imagine how the g2 will haunt and burry the iphone 3g2

There are so many things wrong with this statement I don't even know where to start. How exactly does the 360 kick the PS3's butt? has the 360 set a new standard in distributed computing? are the 360's graphics better than the ps3's? Has major colleges and universities used 360's linked together as a super computer? Can the 360 play the winner of the high definition movie standard?

The answer to all of these questions is no.

The 360 has two things above the PS3 which is x-box live and the library of games. The online is to be expected as Sony is still in it's infancy when it comes to online with a console, whereas Microsoft had experience ahead of time with the first X-Box. The library of games is to be expected because the 360 had more than a year head start with the current gen.

I have three words for you. Little Big Planet. Nuff said on that

If anything, I would consider Android to be the PS3 of your scenerio. So much potential, so much possibility, and the capability to blow the competition out of the water. It's late into the phone market, but it can pack a punch.

i can say this from personal use. maybe its just me and most of my friends lack of vision lol i mean both systems are great. but the graphics of the 360 are better than the ps3 in my own humble opinion that is. and the game play is just awesome. thats why i think the g1 will out do the iphone in many things now and more to come. and no no universities dont have time for research on this lol maybe they are running some data over at MIT.

Oh boy - do we have gaming console battle? ... I think G1 is FTW over those two consoles with its Quake game

Coming from an absolute videogame tech head I can tell you why the graphics "seem" better on the 360. The 360 outputs with a darker contrast ratio, and it does this on purpose to hide cosmetic inconsistencies and graphical burps. check any comparative video on gametrailers.com and you will see that the 360 version is always darker. And I have yet to see a single game on 360 that looks more beautiful than GT5P at 1080p. But like I said, I spend WAAAAAAY too much time with video games.

i have done checks while i have played both consoles. again this is just an opinion. maybe after the ps4 and 720 rol out. this is where i stand. again the ps3 is allright. the 360 rox. for me that is. just like the g1 does

I gotta vote for 360. I dont ever really play games, but watch TV through my 360 every night. Plus with NetFlix comin out this fall on the 360 its only gonna be that much cooler.
