G1 Stuck on Bootloader screen after attempt to revert to rc29 from rc 30

Yes. Right now there does not seem to be an in-tact version of any software on there right now. The install went bad midway. The presumably-bad rc29 I have is the only install that will run, so I am going to try to download a new one and install that. Otherwise, I don't know what I can do if I can't install any system.

Ok, I had the same thing happen when i tried to revert mine to RC29, first attempt to flash failed, second attempt failed, so i thought hmm not good, maybe i had a bad download, so I went over to XDA and downloaded it again FROM A DIFFERENT LINK copied to the sd card and flash went perfectly!

now i wonder though you said you tried to go back to RC30 how? there has not been a .nbh image leaked of RC30 to my knowldge only the RC29 image that was leaked.

in any event download a new copy of the image and try it, your phone is not bricked

I got it to work! I just re-downloaded the rc29 reversion, checked it, and installed it and it suddenly worked like a dream. That officially means that the last RC29 reversion file I had was corrupt. I am having a little trouble getting root access though.. any advice?
