Default G1 really worth the money?

seriously, 300 bucks if you are an old t-mobile customer extending your contract..

who can really see many nice apps being developed for this open source?

can it tether as in be used to get a laptop online... if so, how good is it?

adobe have flash for it but we are looking at another year before its release..

i have ordered the phone with the cheaper data plan ""25.99" is there a way to send im's for free? on a web based im service like meebo? or does the i phone not have any kind of java to run the site?

im thinking of cancling my order.
