G1 Phone "with Google" question...
I noticed that T-Mobile.com offers the "G1 Phone with Google" in black and one without (G1 Phone in Black). What's the difference? Both used to be available for pre-order. Now only the regular one is available.

There is no difference that we know of at this point. Could be a possible mistake by T-Mobile...

That's what I figured. Just had to get a second opinion so I can sleep tonight. I was actually contemplating the possibility that the one I pre-ordered would not ship with all the cool Google apps. Silly me.

I was wondering about that too. When i ordered, i ordered "with google" because no one at t-mo could tell me the difference and i didnt want to take a chance missing out on something. Well, darn, ida ordered the brown if ida known that!

Yes.. this was confusing me as well.. It still says $179 as a pre-order on t-mobile..

You know I asked myself the same question when I preordered the g1. I figured "with Google" meant the phone would have Google's name badged onto the back as seen in some pictures.

And g1 in black would just be all black without Google badging.

Ok.. When I ordered on the 23rd, there was only one option for black.. I also noticed the 2nd option, and am guessing it is no mistake because it has been there for a number of days.
Personally - This being the first Android phone and something I will probably break in the first couple of months, I don't mind having the googlogo on it and honestly it probably won't last long enough to annoy me
I am really hoping HTC has stepped up to stand with goog
