G1 not picking up Netgear WNR2000

Just got my G1 the other day and I love it. Really cool phone but I'm having problems with it connecting to my home network. I run a Netgear WNR2000 wireless N router and my almost all of my wireless stuff connects to it with no problem. The phone picks up wireless networks around me with little to no problem but it doesn't see mine at all. I thought it was my security settings and I even went in and added my MAC address to the router.

Anyone have any suggestions about the setup to get it to see the router? I downloaded the wifi analyzer and wifi scanner and neither of them see my network but will see other networks. I would like to be able to get it to run off my wifi if possible.

i know it's obvious,but did you try rebooting the router?

yeah, just tried that a few mins ago...

When that didn't work and i added the mac address, added the SSID in the phone, etc. I decided to just come here and see if anyone had any ideas.

Silly question, but is your SSID broadcast on or off?

I have a rangemax and I used to run with SSID off -all my other gadgets connected just fine, but my Hero had to be forced to connect.

I turned SSID broadcast back on and it connects automatically with no fuss now.

I even have a WiFi scanner app and a WiFi Analyizer and neither see my network on the phone. I can see other networks though with both apps. Other wireless devices connect without any problem.
