G1 Creaking noises?

Is anyone else experiencing creaking noises when they press on the screen in the hinge corner area?

Mine makes lots of annoying creaking noises, especially when you press on the top left corner, and then back on the bottom right again.

Yea, its terrible :-( I was really hoping for a solid phone. Maybe the 2nd gen G1 will be a bit better built?

Mine creaks a little, but not enough to bother me at all. No product is perfect.

No creaks here. Just spray your phone with some WD-40 and it will be just like new.

hm, mine creaks really loud. maybe its defective? maybe ill go into the store tomorrow and check another one to confirm. not a lot of comments so I guess its only with a few phones??

mine does not creak at all

try a little silicon spray on a qtip - open the screen and smear a little around in the openings along the side and on the moving plastic part that you see to the right when the screen is opening

make sure its a lubricant that doesnt attract dirt

mine works fine. I heart other people talk about creaks but so far its all good.
