G1 Camera takes corrupt pictures?

I have literally taken thousands of pictures with my g1 . Never , never had the picture corrupted . But every once in a while a photo corrups using snap photo pro , when applying a filter . I have transfered lots and lots of photos to the computer and back and somewhere else ..... emails , websites , etc . Only one friend with an iphone can't open my pics in email . ( iphones can't receive mms ) . Are you using snap photo ? I can never complain about the g1 camera , I love it ! I use the heck out of it

The cameras I've tried on several models, both the native app and Snap Photo, all slllllllloooooooooooooooooowwwww, buggy, prone to crashing, ****ty image quality (compared to my MDA Compact IV / HTC Diamond, which is the same 3.2mp and really clear sharp pics), the camera button is mushy and non-responsive (sometimes I have to press it several times, sometimes hold it in for 3-4 seconds to launch the software) and pressing the trackball to capture is inaccurate. The picture viewing software is slow and nasty and outdated, considering the slick UI of the rest of the phone, and sending images as MMS seems to reduce them to the size of a gnat's toenail.

But yeah, apart from that, I can never complain about the g1 camera.

Yes! Our engagement photos are corrupt. It was the first time it has ever happened with our G1, and has not happened since. The behavior that the original poster described is accurate.

Photos in question continue to display fine on the G1, but they will not open in anything outside of the device, even image repair programs or online upload sites.

The SD cards used in digital cameras are prone to get corrupted because of its heavy usage means you can use them on your camera, mobile phones, can connect to your systems or can use in different multi-media devices. Once they get corrupted the photos become inaccessible. To recover all these corrupted pictures you have to use digital photo recovery software. The one that i have used is Remo Recover software. The demo version is available free. You can download it and give it a try to recover corrupted photos from digital camera.
