Yup! Many companies have tried to get Flash onto their phone. Theres two main barriers:
1-Relationship between the two companies
2-Having a phone powerful enough and with the memory to handle flash.

There is flash lite mainly seen on WM phones, but it doesnt even compare to a full flash browser.

look up skyfire on the internet... i currently have it installed on my phone as a beta tester, and it runs youtube.com, the actual site perfectly fine over wifi... granted you don't get the "mouseover" capabilities that you can with a pc, but it does what it claims: loads websites as fast as your computer...

they use the same proxy technology that opera mini does, but their client side program is a whole lot more complex and able to handle flash... like i said, we're nearing the point where pc browsing capability on phones is gonna become into fruition

well al, i failed to mention its currently only running on windows mobile... it will be sometime before you see it on android, hopefully skyfire will get major funding (they already have but need more) to make this happen...

only other OS that they have it testing on is a nokia symbian based operating system

skyfire does the page rendering/compression on a server. So you're not connecting directly to the site, rather through skyfire's servers. There are advantages and disadvantages to this...
