Whoa, nice find!
I received a coupon book in the mail a few days back, I'll check it out asap! Thanks for the heads up!
For those of you in the market for a G1 (or have friends on the fence who are), if you are Costco members, or can go with someone who is (guests can shop with Costco members -- I don't know if they can avail themselves of this cell phone deal), I just got the latest coupon book in the mail from Costco and here is the deal:
T-Mobile G1 is $100 off instantly with 2-year activation or $60 off instantly with 2-yr qualified upgrades. Includes Bonus Bluetooth Headset. Also, all cell phones bought at Costco that we have ever bought (which is a lot), including my G1, include a car charger and usually a case. I bought my G1 there, don't use a Bluetooth headset, so sold that on ebay for $25 (included shipping)
Last I saw at Costco, the G1 was $179.99, so with this coupon, would make it $79.99, plus all the extra goodies, which makes it a sweeter deal even than the Amazon special.
Whoa, nice find!

smh @ these crack head prices.
What if your currently T-mobile customers. Do you keep the plan that your on now, and is it a T-mobile plan? Hope this makes sense.
If your already a T mobile customer and have an contract that is not due yet, then you can't take advantage of that offer.
Now if they were selling for $80 without contract, that would just be unbelievable.![]()
You have to buy a data plan with a G1. Beyond that, as I said, it says this on the coupon, "$60 off instantly with 2-yr qualified upgrades". I would suggest you stop by the Wireless Kiosk at your local Costco to find out how this offer fits in relation to your current T-Mobile plan ...
And yes, this will definitely be a T-Mobile plan. The Wireless kiosks in Costcos are agents for all the major carriers, but almost always offer better deals than you can get directly thru the carriers, which is why my wife and I always end up buying our cell phones thru Costco.
