Freezing in Sleep Mode - Help!

I had the same problem. My G1 would be in sleep mode and would not turn on and wouldn't charge. I tried 2 different batteries and it didn't work. I called TMO and they sent me a replacement and now I am having the same problem again. It works if you pull the battery but why should I have to deal with doing that 5 times a day. I am going to call TMO again have them send me another phone.

Although I'm on Long Island, there is DEFINITELY a problem in Chicago re: this issue. I've been following a thread on TMO's official forums and there is a CRAPLOAD of Chicago (specifically downtown Chicago) people w/ this problem. Check it out if you're interested:

Wow after hours of tinkering with this I realized all i had to do was remove my memory card and it worked like a charm

Mine started freezing when charging about 1 week ago. Now it won't turn on at all.

This worked for me! i ejected the memory card, and it worked fine all morning. Then tried putting it back in, and it froze again within an hour. Only problem is, i have nowhere to store pics anymore. At least the phone is working now. Thanks!
