For those who received a warranty exchange

I was wondering for anyone who did a warranty exchange what their experience has been with their new phone.

Does the build seem sturdier? Any creaks and loose screens? Did it come with RC28 or higher? Was it refurbished or new? I spoke with a rep who said it is highly unlikely people would be getting refurbished phones at this point and would most likely receive a new phone (just the shell). She said if it was refurbished, it would say refurbished somewhere in the packaging.

Just curious. I'm waiting for a warranty exchange phone. I am fine with a refurbished phone as long as there is no creaks and dead pixels, but we'll see.

My G1 still creaks and the screen is still lose, which doesn't bother me. But what did was my phone having more problems then my first one did, half of the screen turns black for 2-3 seconds when i slide the screen up and my phone clicks in and out on phone calls.

I got my replacement on Thursday and called on Saturday for a replacement for that one. The keyboard is still sunk in a bit and the screen didn't creek the first day of having it, but started to on Friday.

The one i received was RC19 and i got the RC30 update message Sunday morning. I have gotten replacements before(Wing, MDA, v360) that i know were refurbs and it was never indicated on the packaging. I am hoping the next one comes with RC28, maybe then it would be part of the second batch which seem to be better.

I am waiting on my replacement (brand new) - it should be here by 24th - after I get it I will leave my feedback. I do not expect much of it with the exception to work normally.
If it does not work I will request another replacement - and if that 3rd phone is not working I will not go after G1 anymore. I will sell it and get myself some HTC phone - or maybe even Nokia N96.
