turn on the gps , pick a location , get directions how to get there , press navigate
I did all that, but I don't but i don't have a navigate button. I do the point to point directions and then press go and the screen with directions comes up. On the top it has an option to show map, but not an option to navigate.
Simms, just to be clear, when I followed your directions, I only used the directions you typed, not the directions from the guy you quoted, is that the problem I'm having?
Below is exactly what I did, nothing else. All of this went well, had no problems with it

in terminal type(type exactly . watch for capital letters , spelling , and spaces)..

mount -o rw,remount -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system
rm /system/sd/dalvik-cache/*Maps*
rm /system/app/*Maps*
ash
mount -o remount,rw /system
install /sdcard/Maps.apk /system/app/
reboot
for some reason it takes 2 , 3 , 4 tries sometimes for it to appear . check your settings , your about phone , does it say that you are a droid ? (lol)
it took me 4 tries the first time . try installing the google voice app . for some strange reason it is somehow tied to it . even if you dont have google voice .
