everytime i choose mount phone..

This happened to me once with the phone attached, but cannot be certain it was the G1 that caused it. However, on my last lap top I had this on a weekly basis, then I uninstalled my Norton anti-virus and it stopped the problem. Unsure why.

u def need to install normal usb drivers. figure out ur windows version and all that jazz and search google for windows "XXX" usb drivers (XXX is ur windows version as in xp or vista)

i don't have norton, i have all currecnt updated usb drivers, i've restored..everything you all are saying i've done before i made this thread.

it works on my laptop, but has never worked on my desktop and i'd like to use my desktop and not have my laptop out every time i wanna put stuff on.

but thanks for all the suggestions, i'll just figure somethin out or see if a hammer can fix my problem
