downloaded files, save?

I apologize if this is realy easy to do, but I cant figure it out.

My company has a web site that stores suppression system manuels on it and they are in PDF format. I downloaded JETCETPDF tonight and now I can open them and view them. After I go to my web site and click on download, a few seconds later my g1 goes to "download history", is there a way to go back to this screen without downloading something new? I see there are past downloads there but I cant find how to get there without the pdf program.

If I open JETCETPDF hit menue-open-sdcard-download, the files are in there. I guess that means they are auto saveing to the sdcard???? what da???

Is there a way to go back to downloaded files and open them without this program and can I save these to the phone or the sdcard? ( I dont have root)

last thing. anyone interesed in takeing on a g1 owner as a student? I will compensate you for your time.

Ok, so I'm assuming that you want to access the downloads folder from the browser w/o using that one specific program. If so, you can do this with file manager apps. I have two, Astro and Discover. Both are file managers and also have something different that I like. Anyways, just install the app, open it up, then go to the "download" folder.

You can also access this on your computer via a card reader.

Anything downloaded from the browser is automatically saved to the microSD card.

EDIT: Just go to browser settings and click on download to see the files.

i will download and try those other apps you mentioned.
