Does the keypad have a backlight?

Hey guys,

Sorry if someone already answered this. I couldn't find one.

I thought earlier I had seen a picture of a G1 in the dark and the keypad had a backlight. I'm not sure if it was a legit picture as I haven't seen any other data about this.

Is anyone able to tell me if I am able to use this in the dark or do I have to know all the keys before this is possible?

There is a backlight on every single key on the keyboard. It lights up the letters and numbers, not the entire key itself. Hope this helps..
