Does G1 support 16 GB SDHC Card?

im not to sure, but the price is quite alot higher with micro sd for the higher capacity.

SDHC is an micro sd card so it may support bt they said its expandable till 8 GB so the question is does it support 16 & 32 GB Cards

As far as I know the g1 does support 16 and 32gig cards I have also read this somewhere I think it was on engadget.I'm thinking about buying a 32gb card myself.

It does support 16gb cards...but it does not take the 32gb cards.

With that amount of space on a micro sd card make sure what you get is a class 6 speed rating card. As you get to the bigger and bigger memory cards this is the difference between having to wait a few mins to having to wait allot.

If it'd support these higher-capacity cards it might as well support more filesystems. I'd hate to store 16GB of data on a FAT16 volume :X

So I realize this thread is almost a year old but I was hoping to get some more info about the G1 and whether is supports the 16GB SDHC cards now or not?

Yes it does...I have a 16GB micro in mine now.
