deleting multiple emails at one time?

Is there seriously no solution for this yet? I am so regretting getting rid of my Blackberry for this one weakness. Any suggestions? When I'm in Email app (not Gmail) I have no option called "Delete". C'mon!!!

Hi,

I'm sure it's as simple as opening your inbox, pushing menu key, selecting delete. Checkboxes then appear to select the messages you want to delete. There's a 'select all' option if I remember right. I don;t have mail set up (I use gmail) or I'd check.

Blackberry? Those things are for business people who don't know any better...

without selecting any message goto menu and then click delete
you will get a screen where all the mails in the inbox will have cross which you can click for multiple message to delete them stumbled on it accidently

but there's no way to "select ALL"? you still have to hit each message.... or am I missing something?

Just figured it out on my HTC Desire but I also noticed this is a pretty old thread! Anyways, select 1 email then you will see delete at the bottom! Then you can hit the menu button and select all allowing you to delete all emails. This is in the email app not Gmail....

It is very tedious to check so many boxes for every email and then delete. Also while i use to check individual checkboxes, I happen to accidently hit the header and open the mail itself. Is there a way to 'Mark All' like the one you have in symbian phones?

Yes put a check in the check box... then hit menu and you will be able to check all!
