Yeah, and texts
bump.. id like to know as well.
to delete all text messages go to the messages main section with all the messages listed... then hit menu. next select delete threads and on the prompt hit ok. thats it. im not sure about emails.
For emails:
Go to the home screen, click on the browser, type in the URL "mail.google.com", log in, and waaaa laaaa!![]()
thats one way of doing it
without selecting any message goto menu and then click delete
you will get a screen where all the mails in the inbox will have cross which you can click for multiple message to delete them stumbled on it accidently

If you're talking about the Gmail widget, just open it, touch the little square boxes to the left of the messages to select the ones you wish to delete, push the menu button, touch delete. They're gone.
For the general email widget I seem to remember you open the inbox, push menu, select delete and then boxes will appear for you to select as above. Then just confirm delete.
For texts it's the same. Open inbox, menu, delete, boxes appear, select etc etc. That's on the Hero anyway, running the latest version of Android available from HTC for the phone (released in about 1972).
BTW, am I the only one who thinks HTC's failure to give the Hero 2.1 really SUCKS?
