Default Delete Gmail From Inbox List

Hi - is there a way to delete an email from your Gmail inbox list without having to first open the email? On my BlackBerry all you had to do was hit the D key and then Enter to confirm the deletion. Thanks.

Not very intuitive - I was certainly expecting a keyboard shortcut - especially since the same app on the BlackBerry has one - or a selection from the menu key menu.

Is there any way to delete ALL gmail at once, on the phone without going on line?

if you want to save time to delete the messages w/o actually opening the message.
then long pressing and delete is way faster than opening up the kb then pressing a few keys then a confirm. it was probably faster on bb's cuz well you didn't have to flip the phone, then slide open the kb, then type in a few keys. don't ya think?

A keyboard shortcut? So how would you specify which message to delete? With long-press the location of the finger determines the message.

Unintuitive? Humans are born knowing how to point to things with fingers.

I'd assume that the BlackBerry relies on the trackball because you couldn't use your finger to select the message. Now that's unintuitive.
