Dash Charger compatible with G1????

For what it's worth the accessory card that came with my g1 advertised a combo wall/car charger that is the exact one they sent me when I ordered my dash last year.

If the specs are the same, I don't see what the problem is using the same charger. I was using my tilt charger too and didn't notice a difference. BUT, if you have a G1 charger just use that...just in case...

HTC uses an EMU (Enhanced Mini Usb) ont eh G1 and other phones they make. You can tell by looking at the usb input on your phone. If it is sort of lopsided, it's EMU. Motorola makes a "rogue" EMU that will not work with the HTC. They did it to force people to buy their chargers.

i am 100% sure you can use any charger ONLY IF the specs are EXACTLY THE SAME!

i have been using my dash charger since i got the G1 the day before the release, and i run 3g, wifi, bt, and gps all day. i go almost 36 hours on a single charge.
