    Default Custom Sms/Ringtones How To Do It!


    make 3 folders on your sd card

    ringtones - for ringtones mp3 format
    alarms - wav format
    notifications - wav format

    there u go they will then show up in the settings menu when you want to change the ringtones alarms or notifications tones. any questions let me kno i just figured it out

    oo yea and make sure after u load them on ur sd card u unclick use for usb storage or else they wont show up in the folders!! have fun guys

    would u kno how to set a ringtone for unknown calls or people that arent on ur contacts?

    nah not there yet but individual ringtones for ur contacts when u go to edit...its at the bottom...but unknown calls would just use the default

    for text messages the ringtones will only play the first 3 secs and then stop. I hope the patch this

    Another way to get songs to populate (without making the folders) is to set the mp3 as a ringtone, then change it back to something else. The phone seems to cache the file, and then you can select it for alarm or notification.

    ne 1 kno how 2 make txt msg tones?..cuz i tried em all (mp2, wav, aac,etc.) doesn't work.
