Still dont have your cupcake update yet and you don't wanna root your phone? Well HERE you go, im attaching the link to download the cupcake update file and simple instruction for you to install it on your phone. i did it, took like 5 mins. VERY SIMPLE

1. Rename the archive to update

2. Copy the file to the SD Card.
Note : Connect the phone to desktop and then transfer the file. Don't take out the SD card and use the card reader.


3. Turn off the phone. Press and hold HOME and POWER button. The phone will start in recovery mode. You should see an exclaimation sign when it starts.




4. Press Alt + L, it will take you to the boot menu,




5. Press Alt + S, to start the update process. It will take a while so be patient.








6. When the update completes, it will prompt you to press HOME + BACK to reboot.






7 . After you reboot, the update will finalize and automatically reboot.

I'm just wondering but if we already downloaded cupcake(thanks again dj ) and the official cupcake comes out , do we also download that or no ? And does anyone have a link to the full list of features for cupcake ? Bc i want to make sure i know all them .

no problem...umm if you wanna update to cupcake again when you come out than its your choice, it wont hurt or anything...but i think because you manually installed this time, your not going to get the OTA until future ones...ya i'll send you the link right now..

did it connect and pair properly? if so, you can long press on the device under bluetooth settings and disable "phone" and just try to use it for music. i saw and posted about a fix,but i'm not sure if it was reported to be working or not. i'll go check.

It did and I tried that long pressing and disabled the "phone" and it still wouldn't work. I even had my music playing while shutting on/off the bluetooth on both the phone and the headset and still nothing. I have a motorola H690
