Cracked Camera Protector Lens

I don't think this question has been asked before. Here's my problem. I dropped my G1 a couple of months after I got it. This cracked the lens on the battery cover. But it wasn't a big deal, because the crack wasn't obstructing the view of the camera. But as time passed, the crack on the lens spread out like unwanted weed and now there is one right in front of the camera lens.

Does anyone know of a way to replace just the lens without having to replace the entire battery cover? I have an invisibleSHIELD installed and don't want to have to get another one just for the door.

I'd say just buy another back and don't drop it anymore . They appear to be cheap so just pretend the phone was $15 more. I don't think you need any protection for the back. 1. its the back... who cares if its scratched 2. its rubberized

Call htc and get a battery cover replacement. If you do a search there is a thread on that

Wow, this *just* happened to me too. Some of the shards came loose so I've picked it all out. I'll have to sort a replacement cover but the camera works fine in the mean time.
