can't write to sdcard?

Okay....so for whatever reason, my sdcard has decided to stop working...but not really. For whatever reason my music player won't populate my songs...but if i browse my sdcard with the file explorer i can play them individually...and also I can't delete or modify any files on the sdcard with the file explorer (any explorer) and I can't backup apps from the phone to the sdcard...cuz it says it can't access it. But everything works perfectly fine when I access my phone through usb and modify the files with my pc...whats up with that?

The card can simply be corrupted, You might need to purchase a fresh sd card
