Can't Connect To Wifi. HELP PLEASE!

Hi to all, I have had my G1 for about a week now and it is great, but I have been trying to connect it to my Home Wi-fi network with no success. I have reset the router and inputted the G1's Mac address into the router access bit, but still no joy. The G1 finds my router(NETGEAR DG834G) and is "Obtaining IP Address" but it just says "Unsuccessful" or "Disconnected". I know there's loads of pages on this problem, but I have read them all and i'm just stuck! Thanks

If you turn off the encryption in your home router, do you connect. Make the connection basic (no encryption, open) and try to connect. You should be able to connect if you turn all of the security options off. Then start turning stuff back on. Don't bother turning MAC filtering on, and don't disable SSID broadcast, those are both false security and make it harder for you to connect.

Thanks, it connected fine when using an open network and I am now using WPA-PSK and that works fine. Thanks again, now I can use G-mote and control my PC and freak people out when music starts randomly playing!!

I cant connect my L601 android phone via wifi, i have tried to put in my home internet password but it shows tries to connect and then its disconnects at the end.It shows disabled .
