Can you get a wallpaper on the lock screen?

Instead of just having that blackscreen with the date and time, can you set a pic for the lockscreen?

Well, than for those developers out there there's a great project to work on. I'd also like to be able to use two photos for the background... One in portrait mode and one in landscape mode.

that would be tight, i wonder if you could use that condition program for that, like if it's in portrait than one wallpaper, if it's in landscape then the other wallpaper, I haven't got to use it yet so I don't know its restrictions but that's a good idea.

Great idea, in practice however I am betting it would make the transition slow. I like that it's almost instantaneous now.

yah its a good idea but drains the battery if screen is showing some color pictures compared to a black screen.......just a thought

is there any news on this issue now? i have a g1 and hate the bland standby screen, so any advice on how to put a wallpaper or pic on it etc would be great! thanks in advance!
