can i watch myspace video on my g1 phone?

I have a few questions: is it possible to watch myspace videos on my g1? Is there anything I can do about this uploads disabled crap? And last but not least shouldn't I be able to play flv videos from my sd card?

Somebody help me please! Youtube can't be the only to watch videos online from my phone!

flv videos can be watched with some of the after market video players, i can't remember which ones off the top of my head.

youtube isn't the only place to watch videos on the web, however you are going to be severely limited considering the majority of videos on the web are flash based, and adobe has yet to release their flash player for android phones (despite it having been shown working on a g1 months and months ago) I'm assuming myspace has a flash based (if not there own proprietary) video player on there site and it will not at the current time work on your phone.

Damn that sucks! What about this uploads disabled thing. Can I do anything about that?

nope. i think that's just a result of mobile internet being young.
if you are talking myspace specifically one of the myspace apps might get around it, but in any case you need to find an after market app that can do it.

m.myspace.com is able to do video on the G1 I believe. I did it a long time ago.

Yea I'm pretty sure in the browser it will say video (beta) I never have tried though.

That didn't work either. Every video I went to would not play.

Well then I think you answered your own question then.
You could always Google for a software to copy/download myspace vidoes, then use an app that plays video to do it.
But I'm sure you're more so looking at browsing videos not keeping the ones you know about close to your heart and all that.
