Pretty much, if you have downloaded music (without paying for it) it's illegal. You can thank Congress for that.

Now if one was using limewire for sharing copyrighted files, then that act is illegal, not the program itself.

When one installs limewire they are legally bound by the EULA (end user licensing agreement) to not use limewire for sharing copyrighted material, and if one does so, it would violate the EULA and terminate the end users right to use the software, which legally holds the creators of limewire not responsible for any of its users actions. /endrant

The only reason why they have a EULA is for legal reasons, that way the company wont get into trouble if people use their program for illegal activites, only the offending people will.

Best place I've found to download music right to the G1 is www.tagoo.ru completely free pretty well maintained and the song database is pretty large. Used to be alot bigger not sure what happened recently
