Well its your first post here so eh.
Anyway besides there being a million threads about this all you need to do to cure boot loop is this.
Reinstall your rom by getting an E reader card/any method to attach your sd card to the pc to install files. [When I got bootlooped in the hero theme I was able to pull down the notification bar] When you can do that install your build via recovery mode, try a normal flash [didn't work for me] then if it fails you have to wipe your phone and then flash the build.

Cured.
Then install your apps QUICKLY!
And when you go to flash the hero theme again REMOVE ALL! of your widgets/icons, thats probably why it boot looped.

And by rom I think you mean theme so my diganostics above is about the theme.
Hero ROMS! Require a special pattern of updating the radio/hard SPL, I haven't bothered with the hero roms but I'm sure there are about 5 qualitified people off the top of my head that could help you.

Just find a way to install a build to your sd card, rename it update
Recovery mode
wipe
flash.
Install your apps first.

Then look into how to properly do the hero rom again.

i tried puttin anothebuild on my sd card turned it on by holding the end and the home key and its still stuck at the tmobile G1 screen it wont even take part where i can hit ALT W to wipe it

Try attaching the .dreaming file that you used to downgrade your phone and then go into bootloader and apply that.

Going onto a hero build is one of the only ways to brick your phone.
But I'm pretty sure you can wait it out by like 14 hours or some crap, idk try a downgrade via bootloader and if that doesn't help hopefully someone else here will jump in.

no that didnt work still stuck at the G1 startup screen. what do you mean wait it out let the phone stay on on a charger for like 14 hours?

Sorry my replies aren't consistent. If you search the forms somenone previously asked how to brick his phone and he was directed too the hero build because its known to brick your phone if you install the radio/spl in the wrong order.

Search around the threads.

But he said his phone battery died to like -110% and after like 14 hours of charging he revivd it to a fixable state.

But I'd probably make a newer thread about this more eye catching for others to do over little ole me.

My phone was also stuck at the T-Mobile screen, and the wipe/reboot could never get it past the T-Mobile screen.

(my phone was already rooted, and running JF1.5)

I ended up doing this: save the latest JF build from:
http://jf.andblogs.net/2009/05/01/wh...15-coming-out/ ,

saving it as update.zip on the sd card, and then from the recovery screen, press alt + s.

This took, and it works fine now.
