Default camera button not very responsive ...

The camera button on my G1 is really not very responsive, or at least compared to the other phones. I have to press it real hard n deep to invoke the camera.
Is it just my handset or is it the case with every G1 ? ...

Its the feature that requires you to press it in to focus the camera then a little more to actually take the picture. That is how all mechanical focus cameras are.

ya i know about the focus thingi
I was referring to 'bringing up' the camera ... its not like the usual soft-press-invoke , its a hard-deep press ...
Anyway i think its better i go crosscheck it @ t-mobile store.

Simple: press camera button halfway, hold there until it auto-focuses (a green dot will appear letting you that it's in focus), and then slow press harder until it bottoms out. NOTE: Be sure to hold camera completely still at all times!

For the actual camera app to work, I usally just go to the the option instead of pressing the button.
Me and Android are officially connected.

A green dot ??? I dont see any on my phone, where [which side of the screen] n when exactly does that show up ...
And yes I know, we have to hold the phone really really still in order to get a good shot ...

Yeah, there's the green dot @ the top right of the screen after the camera focuses. I personally thing the camera itself is not very responsive...but quite laggy instead.
