I have the same problem. I think it was after do a reboot using the adb shell. DHaris maybe is right about the reboot problem. I upgrade the firmware but still the same problem. Anyone know how to read the error log of the system or of the camera?
Hi all, i read in some other forum to remove the sd card and place it back. It worked for me once.
I also read to reformat the card and I did and it started to work again, but when I copied all my stuff back to sd card, I started getting the problem again.
At this point I'm considering uninstalling progs one at a time to check or more easily, reformat and start putting progs back one by one until I figure what is causing the problem.
***Update***
Okay this is about 5 hours after (I fell asleep with the phone in my hand, sorry)
1> Backup all SD Card data using usb cord
2> I used the free app App2SD and moved everything back to my phone.
3> Removed SD card and placed it back
4> Formatted card
5> Tested camera & videocam = working
6> Used App2SD to put programs back to SD card one by one
7> Check to see camera working after each transfer = working
8> I did not copy the saved folders or pics back to phone or SD card
Result:
So far camera and videocam works.
Only time and usage will tell
Seems like some file probably corrupted the SD Card data
This worked for me (for now), it may not for you. Do not attack me if it doesn't, I'm just trying to help the community.
Oh BTW, I do not own an HTC it is P800/Z800
