I only installed the InvisibleSheild on my screen, and I waited overnight.
Give it enough time so that if any moisture happened to get into the phone, it has time to evaporate. 48 hours is a joke... 12 hours, I'd figure, is plenty.
How long did you wait before you put the battery back in and started using your phones?
I followed the instructions given by BSE and got the skin on without any problems and not one bubble! I made sure to shake off any extra solution before placing the skin on the phone and i didnt end up with that much run off. The problem is that i want to be able to use my phone throughout the day tomorrow. I mean the instructions say to let it sit for 48 hours but i cant imagine anyone in this day and age not using their cell for that long.
So any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated!
(i'll post pics of my black skinned g1 as soon as the 48 hour cure time passes)

Thats what i figured. after i had everything on i set the hair dryer to low and pressed all edges down and i hoping that also helped with any moisture in the tiny cracks. I'm gonna wait till morning and power it up.
Thanks for the quick response
There is probably no Scientific reason for the 48 Hours, but it leaves them a massive get out for complaints & possible legal actions. Basically nobody who has a cellphone is likely to not use it for 48 hours, but if you have a complaint they will ask you if you did. When you say no thay will say TOUGH LUCK, you didn't follow the installation instructions.
I put the battery in this morning and am charging it now. Thats around 11 hours of drying time. For those of you who about to use a skin dont be afraid to use the hair dryer on low to help dry this the phone.
they have an InvisibleShield Kiosk here at mall next to me and I had them install it for me...30 minutes max they were able to install it, dry it, and test it to make sure no bubbles formed...I've had it for 3 weeks now and I still have no problems with it whatsoever. I don't think even waiting 1 hour is necessary as long as u use a blowdryer or something and constantly dry it for like 10-15 minutes
Seriously. How much water could there be left after an hour? Let's say there's still a cummulative ten drops of water on the phone after one hour, which I know is waaayyy high. Most likely, you'd be hard pressed to squeegee out even one drop of water, but I'll give you ten. Don't you think this phone could take a little bit of water without dying? Like if it got a little rain water on it?
48 hours??? That's ridiculous. I'd use it the next morning without hesitation.

took me 30 minutes to install the front half, let it sit for about 15 minutes with air drying, they i put he battery in and started it up, wasn't hazy or anything either.
48hrs is just to cover their butts. Wait a reasonable amount of time and visually inspect that the moisture is gone.
