I think there is a problem in the firmware. I have had notifications I set to go off 45 minutes before an appointment go off 5 minutes before or 30 minutes after an appointment. There is definitely something screwy with the firmware.
i have a calendar notification set for a certain time everyday, but for some reason my notifications never go off at all. they randomly come on different days, but they're never consistent at all. i'll get the notification one day, and then the next day i won't at all. what gives? is the notifications just terrible, or is it a firmware malfunction?

Same here....completely unreliable if you are using it to notify you need to be someplace soon.
I recently had mine come on and give me a notification I had a dentist appointment in 30 minutes. Unfortunately, I was in my car on the way home from that appointment!
So yeah, I've had the same issues.
interesting. im not saying it's not firmware as i haven't had any problems, but make sure the reminder is set to pop up...worse comes to worse, do what i do - set multiple multiple reminders, including e-mail and SMS and pop up - with push gmail, it acts just like a pop up for me. all my gcalendar items are work related, and so i cannot miss one of them - i have all 5 reminders set to something
Yeah, its pretty annoying to have to set multiple alerts for something that should go off at the time you set it for, but if that's the only way to be alerted about it then that's what has to be done. I used to have it set to notify me by e-mail, but it wouldn't alert me on time either so I set it to pop up.
I have had the same issues you describe. Does anyone know if Touchdown solves these issues?
