The only "right-click" I can think of is a long press.
Is there a way to get the Android browser to send a right-click? I don't mean for native options like "save as", I mean for javascript where the right click context is overridden for custom events/menus. Even a single button Mac can be told to send a right-click.
The only "right-click" I can think of is a long press.
Anybody found reight click solution yet? I mean right click the javascript type.
Has anyone found an Android based browser that permits emulated right clicking? I've explored this on my Toshiba Thrive using the Android versions of Opera, Chrome, Firefox, and DolphinHD, using both a stylus and a three button mouse. So far, none of these browsers seem to support a right click that will bring up the same menus which can be accessed on the same website using the same (non-android versions) of the same browsers from a PC. The menu that comes up instead (with a long press from a stylus/finger or a right click from the mouse) on the android tablet is instead the android menu for selecting text, opening a graphic, or saving a graphic.
There has to be an android browser out there that better emulates a right click on a PC..... right? Thanks to anyone that can offer some guidance.
I had the same problem. I have a local NAS device with a web interface that requires RIGHT-CLICK to activate certain options and features. This is what I found via LONG-PRESS
- defaut browser: option to select text, save as.... Not what the Windows PC browser does. [menu to choose from.]
- Dolphin: usual dolphin choices, gesture, select text, etc.
- Opera Mini: won't even load NAS web page, non-starter
- Firefox: Normal right-click menu appears!! Slightly odd timing, however, only one to "do the job"
