Not sure about any apps that will give you more specific information...im sure they are out there, I just have not used any
but try:
Settings > About Phone > Battery Use
It never rains but pours. I've another query I hope someone can help me with!
Suddenly, after 3 months' use, my Hero's battery life seems to be declining. I'm lucky to get through the day with it, even with light use.
No new market apps, although most have updated a few times, so I'm wondering if one of those has turned into a battery vampire.
Is there any app that will tell you which programmes are using up all your power and does anyone have any tips for tracking down such problems?
I may have to upgrade to a higher capacity battery otherwise!

you have to completely drain your battery before you charge it or it eventually become very inaccurate . i discharge my battery(s) completely at least once a week . if you had root , you can also type in a script into terminal that will get it accurate again .....
su(enter)
rm /data/system/batterystats.bin(enter)
reboot(enter)
Thanks Simms,
I'll give that a try. I didn't realise memory effect kicked in that quickly with this type of battery...

Its not the battery , its the phone . If the phone tells it that it is at 100% , it stops charging . So , if you have root , you can delete that file and start fresh . Without root , drain the battery completely . You can tryy this to see the inaccuracy . Look at the percentage , reboot , than look at the percentage after reboot .
Hi !
Thanks for the info Simms22. I've drained the battery completely and will see how I get on. Fingers crossed! Thanks again....
