    Default annoying phone calls?

Have any of you noticed annoying phone calls yet? I am questioning if apps d/loaded from the market can get our #'s and call them. I d/loaded an app and almost immediately following i got a call from

215-561-5500, now, every 5 minutes or so I get that call. I delete the app but the calls persist.

I also have had 2 calls where a voicemail is left for a foreign man... if I listen to the voicemail it is considered accepting notification of the collection for this guy so I keep deleting and hanging up... have not listened to the whole message yet.

Anyone else noticing things like this?

Can T Mo change my number (had the phone for < 2 weeks)?

They reuse the phone numbers on one of my phone numbers i would get a lot of calls for someone i had never heard of and we would tell them they no longer own the phone etc but it never really stopped.

i doubt an application creator is calling you every 5 minutes. We would have heard of it from others by now.

Sound advice. That's what I'd do. Either that or number change. Of course that's kind of a hit or miss scenario there...

im on the phone w. tmo now, they said to add the number as a contact "unwanted" and then have the number go directly to my voicemail.

Not ideal really... any other suggestions?

    seriously, nobody else?

I got some more today from 215.701.4440. I think someone had my number before and had terrible credit or something. T Mo said they do not recycle numbers, but I wonder if they acquired some Suncom #s when they moved to the Carolinas.

I really do not want to have to change my #....

I thought it was happening to only me. Ive received calls from a 785 area code. I googled the number and it's a telemarketer trying to sell something. They do not leave a message. I have added them to my contacts and checked send to voicemail. I also added them to my youmail. Now when they call they get a message saying please check the number you dialed and try again. Then the call is ditched ( they cant leave a message).

T-Mobile can say that the don't recycle numbers, but they do. Everyone does. I've lost my numebr a few years back. I was goign to transfer to another carrier, but my number got pucked up before they completed the transfer. I've installed almost every app on the marketplace and have not gotten one call. Most likely the number you got was from someone who signed up for a lot of various services. It could be the reason that they changed numbers and how you ended up with it.

okay, so I just got ANOTHER company calling me. I plugged the number in google and a LOT of the comments were people saying they were with T Mobile.

I am new to T Mobile, is this common? I was shocked to see people saying "ALSO a T Mobile customer" in the rants about this company calling them.
