Alarm Clock Problems

Ok, so I set my alarm clock on my phone today and used it to wake my self up. I wake up an hour after i wanted too and my phone never went off.

I open my phone and I get a rush of notifications, 3 missed called, low battery, 1 new txt, and my alarm clock went off as soon as I opened it.

Has anyone else had this problem before? Does the phone have a crappy priorety system? I haven't turned off my phone since I bought it and from what I can tell the OS on the phone is similar to vista where all the bad code build up and some times in order to fix a problem all you have to do is restart it; What do you guys think?

I use my alarm every day - sometimes more than once... And I've never had this problem. It always goes off, and that trusty rooster's crow wakes me.

Never had a rush of notifications like that... And actually never encountered any "bad code" that built up... But a periodic reboot of any computing system is a good idea, no matter the device.

No. I always test the alarm feature couple of times before officially using it and it works fine on my end.

I had an issue with my alarm this morning as well. Had the alarm set, but it never made an actual audio notification. The screen was flashing to indicate the alarm was working.

I pulled the battery and rebooted the device, then created a test alarm. It seemed to work fine after the battery pull.

I had that problem this morning where my alarm went off an hour later only after I opened up my phone.

I've only used the alarm twice, and both times it has worked fine for me. I was worried after reading the alarm reviews, because normally a train could run through my room and I wouldn't wake up.

maybe its just the first alarm, mine did that too the first time but the second night i used it i made sure to set my ipods and actual alarm clocks alarm(power goes out frequently) and it went off that time.

I had an alarm clock problem this morning. I turned off all three of them (including the G1) and went back to bed. :P

I had a problem this morning. Previously I had my first alarm set for 7:30 to repeat for Mon-Fri and I changed it to 7 before going to bed and it didn't go off at 7 but at 7:30 after I got up myself and opened up the phone to see my emails and texts. My phone was in silent all night.
