Awwww dang, I was hoping the Aim client didnt run SMS, that SUCKS. I took Tmobile Wing back bcuz the AIM was SMS. Ummmm I guess I can deal with that for a while until they develop AIM on the G1 that runs on data. Thats one thing imma miss on my sidekick lx....

    My thoughts exactly.

I really hope Cerullean ports Trillian to Android. In my opinion it is the best multi-client messenger available.

Aim icons are not supported in this version. You can not join chat rooms, and yes you are able to change your status to the following in all 3 clients.

    -Available
    -Away
    -Invisible

How is the push for the AIM client? Seconds delayed? Milliseconds? I really would like to know how much latency there is between the two people using the AIM client (one on computer, one on G1)

Latency is about a second each way.

wow thats not bad at all, thanks alot, here's my last set of questions on the instant messengers

1)how has the connection been with the instant messengers ie (issues staying connected/logged in, etc)?

2)are you able to save convos? and if you're not, can you atleast email them or send them via mms/sms to somebody?

3)and in msn/yahoo messenger, are you able to change your display name or any of your buddies display names?
