Default would kill for a cache killer

I use the browser on my g1 heaps and find that the cache gets out of control quickly. The only tim I ever notice sluggish performance on my phone is when the browser cashe is out of hand and going through the browser settings and clearing the cache has it running like new again... well, for a day or two when I need to do it again.

So I'm wondering, how easy would it be to have a cashe killer app? Its shortcut sits on one of my side homescreens and all I need to do is tap it to clear my cache without have to dig through browser menu and settings.

Killer idea, it beats digging through the browser settings all of the time.

I feel your pain believe me. Before I moved up to JF 1.5 I noticed my old cache to sd script stopped working, but just a few days ago I came across this app in the market called "Move Cache" and it works great for JF 1.5 no more cache deleting. It moves em just like the good ol days

at sometime i had a script written for deleting my available caches. it just required typing out one line and running it, and it would delete all my caches.

maybe i can try and find it and you all canmodify it to your needs until something better comes along.

oh and it would only work on rooted phones.

i brought this idea up in another thread somewhere it would be so cool to have a one touch type thing that wuill clear it out. or have options to clear cache messages and call logs all at once
