There is really nothing difficult to it..
I dont use vista often, but when I first tried that, I did it on my wife's machine which has vista in it, everything went painlessly
i'm having a hard time tryin to get the wifi tether for root users app to work with a windows vista machine. i've used it on my macbook and on a windows xp OS no problem. does any1 have a step by step? i've never really worked with vista before.

Yea. It won't see the g1 tether connection. Do I use internet options, connect to internet or network options, connect to a network?

wifi tether for root users is the app i'm using.
it would appear the reason its not appearing is because she, the girl i'm tryin to get online, doesnt have a wireless card in her computer. she doesnt have internet either. i know there are a whole bunch of apps that tether through the usb, but most of those require the android sdk to be installed on the machine.
is there a tether through usb app that doesnt need anything installed on the computer to use it?
any help would be appreciated. tryin to score a few points!!!!![]()
Lol Score... But I Don't Know Any Apps Through The USB App, Let Alone Without Having Anything On The Computer Installed. Sorry.
