Hi all,
Perhaps an application already exists, but when I google for this I get too many hits for other apps...
I'm often walking around with 2 phones in my pockets or on my desk. It should be possible to answer a call to any of them with only 1 phone. Just use one of them as a bluetooth headset for the other.
So phone 1 (with android of course) runs an app that will make it the headset of phone 2. So if phone 2 is ringing, I can answer the call with phone 1.
Anyone seen something like it?
Thanks,
Gertjan

No, I mean I always have an extra phone with me (from work) and I'd like to answer that phone with my HTC Hero. Technically it should be possible with a bluetooth link....
Very nice idea!
I've a government cell phone that I *need* to use. It would be cool to have my government cell on silent and have my G1 ring just as it would for any incoming call but instead for the caller ID say it's coming from my work phone.
Good idea.
I was googling for options to do this as my employer will not allow "too smart"phones for support reasons and found this post.
It seem like nothing is available for this, but it would be great application which will allow many people to have two phones but only use one to take and place calls, for work and privately.
It would mean I can leave my work phone in my pocket or better the laptop bag and just use one phone.
I would even be willing to pay for an app. like this.
Cheers,

That would be perfect. It would mean I can leave my work phone in my pocket or better the laptop bag and just use one phone.
Nice to hear you liked the idea....still nothing available to make this work?
