Do it right from the terminal:

Open terminal, and type:

su
cd sdcard
wget http://n0rp.chemlab.org/android/cm-recovery-1.3.1.img
flash_image recovery cm-recovery-1.3.1.img
reboot recovery

Should download, install and reboot the phone into the new recovery mode.

It downloads the file and then when I put flash-recovery-cm-recovery-1.3.img it says file not found. Am I missing something?

make sure the file is in the root of your sd card

space between image and recovery . and space between recovery and /sdcard .
