I recently found out that using Open Home restricts me from having the ability to use the music player, and calender widgets, which I think are very useful widgets. If I root do I have full access to skin and use the widgets that want to ?

I'm just using the freeware, so I would assume that with the paid app, I would be able to use the said widgets. I should have put some thinking into that before posting, I guess. Should I buy now, or is there a free app in the markeyt that is cupcake-compatible?
Time for you to experiment!
