    Default Theme help


    Ok I rooted my G1 today and now I would like to add a them. Can someone point me in the right direction please on how to install a them to G1.

    kila user 1.1plat rc33
    jf 1.0.1 updater

    since u already started this post...might as well intrude lol. ok if by any chance my phone bricks when installing a theme how hard is it to undo or whatever u might call it? im running rc33 jf 1.41 and i alreayd did the nandroid backup

    Basically just re-install a version of an RC. Ehhh i'm not sure how to use nandroid backup, but just read over at xda, it'll tell you.

    Lol I have a couple of memory cards laying around, so it would be a good idea to have one with the rc29 update right? And maybe my backups.

    I dont think you have to go all the way back to RC29...I have an extra SD card that I have the JFRC33 file on...I bricked my phone once by accidentally installing a RC30 theme and used the backup to unbrick it...worked fine by just swapping out cards and the familiar ol' ALT+S.

    Grab a default theme from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=468436 and keep the update.zip on a seperate memory card in case your phone ever stops loading after themes. It should clear a lot of the 'brick' problems. Most people usually tend to grab the wrong version of themes for their JF versions. Read first before you do anything.
