text to speech

Ive looked thru the first couple of pages and didnt see this yet. If some one has said this b4, sorry.


Text to speech is soo handy, and the libraries are there already. Why hasnt it been written yet? I use it on my computer for nearly all of my reading. I love being able to actually make and eat lunch while reading a book or anything else. Having my eyes free to do other things while reading and review headlines, book, email, and everything else is just a good thing.

I would like to mention that I would be happy to pay for a well working and functional/useful text-to-speech app. Would need to read selected text from emails and web browser, and have a human like voice. For all that I would be happy to pay.

An app like this would be great with text messages and/or email - I hate texting or talking and driving. To be able to just push a button and have it read the message to me would be awesome.

There is the text to speech notepad, but thats all that uses the library so far.

Not that is much, but the Bubble Level app uses the text to speech too.
