app doesnt seem to kosher.
wouldnt want to run to many programs in parallel any way.
im always killing apps in the task manager.
I would agree with the comment from MoridinBG on XDA
So far I've tried with swappiness of 60 and the phone does slow down to a halt after about 10 minutes or so of use. I changed the swappiness to 20 and the problem was solved. If this program is updated to change the swappiness to 20 I'll be sure to install it. Until then, I'll just do it manually like this.Consider changing the default swappiness behaviour, as described in my post at page 3 of the thread. With the default value, 60, the phone uses the impossibly slow swap too much and after some use the entire system becames unusable.
Lowering it to a lower value, like 20 or 10 makes it swap rarely, while still using the swap to not force applications to unload and the system is usable, even after long time use.
# cd /sdcard
# dd if=/dev/zero of=swap.fil bs=1M count=32
# mkswap ./swap.fil
# swapon ./swap.fil
# echo 20 > /proc/sys/vm/swappiness

I tried this app and changed the swappiness to 15 and it works out great. Maybe the SD Card will die sooner but then again, I already have a couple extra laying around anyways so I should be able to easily replace it. I can tell you, it's awesome not having to wait 10-15 seconds for the homescreen every time you exit the browser or any other memory intensive application.
Hmm, will try this out with the stock 1GB that I got with the phone.![]()
