    Default Should I hack my G1?


    If so wat are the pros and cons?
    Where do I even start?
    How do I know If I hav R30 Or R29 or watever
    Would it damage my phone?

    If you dont know the answers to what you asked, it may be better to just not deal with hacking the phone. Its not extremely hard but there are a few risks.

    If you don't know what RC version you have then don't even think of hacks

    I'm good at hackin things such as wii psp and the ipod touch so is this some what similiar where can I find steps on wat to do someone help

    if i hack it do i have to manually update from here on for instance when cupcake comes out?

    yes, cause i'm sure all the interneteers call that hacking...

    modding is whats more like what you're doing... and with modding come risks, theres plenty of threads on how to root your phone... look them up
