sd card trouble

hey guys i jsut got an 8gb sd card and wanna upgrade, however i have no idea how to remove the original card that came with it. i unmounted the card turned the phone off removed the back cover took out the sim located the sd card but dont know how to remove it. help me out people?

Welcome to AC. The card is spring loaded. Push it, it'll pop out.

It is located near the call button, flush on the side of the phone. (Top left corner of the "Chin" of hte phone) refer to http://news.cnet.com/i/bto/20081022/G1.jpg

No idea why you removed your SIM card though.

Thanks alot i felt really dumb for a few mins there. i had no idea that was a functional port. i though it was a part of the design. naive i guess considering every other groove is a necessary component. i removed the sim cuz i thought that was the way to get to the sd. every day i learn more and more.
just completed the switch all i was lost my photos, which is fine.

Wow.... that's all I have to say... I hate people that mindlessy purchase things which u obviously did. Its just like that one commercial for car insurance.. what else don't you know?? Lol!!
