do you have a way of checking if the partition was created correctly? either using a linux live cd(ubuntu), or a windows program like paragon partition manager.

I'm also having issues with this, I've wiped my phone, installed JF's adp 1.51 and the aero gloss theme, started the process of reinstalling everything. Downloaded and installed apps2sd and ran it, then when I started reinstalling everything I'm told there is insufficient storage. This is after deleting and creating brand new partitions on my sd card. I'm still messing around with it, drives you nuts wen you realize you've spent 90 minutes working on your phone.

you said you ran apps2sd, then started reinstalling everything. ??? maybe you just worded it wrong? there are 3 versions of apps2sd. the very first had an option to move cache to sd. it was removed from 1.5 apps2sd. and apps2sd2 was for roms using unionfs, which i believe is for jf's anyways. i'm not even sure if apps2sd2 is still around because i don't use jf. but maybe you can try that?

I started with apps2sd2, got a weird error on step one, "mkdir /system/sd/app", got a message in TE, "Read only file system". Knew that couldn't be right, went ahead and reformatted the sd card. Used the apps2sd on the marked, the updated version Marcus put out, I didn't want to mess with everything else at the time. I'm on my fourth format now, I keep getting that "insufficient storage" message. I'll get it eventually, problem may actually be with my sd card.

that's the program making the directory for your apps on ext2 partition. just try using the apps2sd 1.5 version. i've never had a problem with it. i was a little weary of the program making my partition for me,so i never used apps2sd2.

Thanks CT, I got this damn thing working I think. Maybe it just took a few formats, somehow its working.
KiinG, go to cnet.com and look at their download section, find Paragon Partition Manager 9. Install it and check out your partitions, make sure they read correctly.
